Technical Architect/Team Leader
Jobsite Worldwide http://www.jobsite.co.uk
December 2000-December 2001
Warrell was responsible for the successful development and deployment of an extranet to support customers and sales staff. The Model 2 architecture employs Java Server Pages, Enterprise Java Beans, XML, JSP Tag libraries and JavaScript to implement an extensible, robust and rapid B2B application. Warrell also developed and deployed WebStart distributed Java-Swing WorkFlow client applications. All applications use an enterprise wide LDAP based single sign-on iPlanet directory server based bespoke LDAP service developed to overcome the problems of multiple user account administration.
Projects:
Warrell developed a web-spider that found job vacancies advertised on the web. These sites were then processed by an integrated programmable editor. Users load in a page from the target site and record a sequence of editing operations to extract the desired information. If irregularities in the pages are discovered during this process, the program can be paused and amended to cope with the new input.
